Refund policy
We take great care in packaging every order to ensure it arrives safely. Because our products are packaged in glass jars, occasional breakage or loose lids during transit can occur. Please use caution when opening and handling your package.
Damaged Items in Transit
If your order arrives damaged, broken, or leaking:
- Do not discard the packaging or product
- Take clear photos of the damaged item(s) and packaging
- Email the photos and your order number to info@thebackyardfoodcompany.com
We will gladly replace any items damaged during shipping.
Returns
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for items that are unopened and in original condition.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer
- Once the returned item is received and inspected, a refund will be issued to the original form of payment
Non-Returnable Situations
For food safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of products that have been opened or used except where damaged during shipping.
Important Notes
- Glass packaging can be fragile; please handle with care when opening your shipment
- In rare cases, lids may loosen during transit due to pressure and temperature changes. If you have concerns about the safety of your product, contact us before using it
