The Backyard Food Company started after a cancer diagnosis forced us to reexamine the foods that we were putting in our bodies. We started backyard gardens and use simple, fresh ingredients, minimal processing and old family recipes to preserve the harvest. No additives, no preservatives, just simple, fresh ingredients, minimal processing and simple preservation methods that have been used all over the world for hundreds of years.

The rest is history! What started as two guys planting seeds in the ground and canning pickles in the backyard has grown into a leader in the specialty food industry.
