The Backyard Food Company makes all our products right here in the USA using produce grown as close to home as possible.
The Backyard Food Company is located in Rhode Island! The Ocean State, smallest state in the union, no we’re not Long Island. Also known as the salsa capital of the world, the BBQ capital of the world and the pickle capital of the world. OK, maybe not, but we dare you to find better food anywhere else!

The Backyard Food Company is available in many major retailers on the east coast and in independent stores nationwide. To find a store close to you, click here.
We usually ship within a day or two and you should receive your order in around a week. We’re not Amazon! Just two dads balancing our families and the company so sometimes it might take a little longer and we thank you for your patience.
We do everything we can to bring you the best food at the lowest prices. Online orders require extra time, materials and attention for us to put together. We’re shipping heavy glass products, it’s just not cheap! We do have occasional sales and offer discounts on multiple jars.
First of all, please remove with caution. Our jars are glass; we don’t want you getting hurt. Please reach out to us at info@thebackyardfoodcompany.com and send us a picture of the damaged item and we’ll refund you or replace it.
PRODUCTS
All products have a best buy date of 2-3 years from the time of production. We cook in small batches and most of the products leave the warehouse within a month or two and hit the shelves with plenty of time before they expire.
Best Buy dates can be found on the shoulder of the jar above the label. It’s printed in black ink so it’s sometimes hard to see.
That’s easy! We use simple, fresh ingredients just like you use at home. We spend countless hours developing products and testing with friends and family until they’re perfect. Our name and reputation is on the jar!
We started with seeds in the ground, not seed money. We value flavor above all else and don’t sacrifice quality to save on cost. We answer to you the consumer and not a board or shareholders.
