Halloween Mummy Cookies with Apple Butter

Ingredients
Crust
- 1 package refrigerated pie crust
Filling
- 2 oz softened cream
- Jar apple butter
Topping
- 1 egg white-lightly beaten
- 1/2 tablespoon water
- 2 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375
- Cut pie crust into 2x3 rectangles
- In a large bowl, mix cream cheese and apple butter
- Line rectangles on parchment covered baking sheet
- Spread a heaping spoonful of apple butter cream cheese mix leaving 1/4 inch on all sides to attach strips
- Brush edges with egg white and attach strips of dough to make mummies, pressing gently with your finger to join them to the edges
- brush strips with egg white and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar
- Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Add candy eyes while warm
